Enrique López M.

Partner at the Firm, specialized in national and international commercial transactions. His professional practice focuses on administrative law, corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and he has extensive experience in transactions related to corporate structures, public procurement, telecommunications, and economic competition. He previously worked at Barrera, Siqueiros y Torres Landa, S.C. (now Hogan Lovells), in the public procurement practice.

He has been recognized by Legal 500 as a “Next Generation Partner” in Corporate/M&A, highlighting his track record in the negotiation of international transactions within the Mexican market.

Throughout his career, Enrique has advised companies in merger control notification proceedings before the Mexican competition authorities, including high-value transactions in the context of M&A operations. He has also represented various clients in investigative proceedings conducted by the Investigative Authority of both the Federal Economic Competition Commission and the Federal Telecommunications Institute.

He holds a Law Degree from Universidad Iberoamericana, with additional studies in Political Science and Public Administration from the same institution. He completed a Master’s Degree in Economic Law at Universidad Panamericana, where he collaborates as a professor, teaching the courses Introduction to Commercial Law, Corporate Law, Corporate Governance, and Political Theory.
