Andrés Acedo M.
Founding Partner of the Firm. He graduated from Universidad Panamericana, where he also completed postgraduate courses in economic and corporate law. He worked as a Foreign Associate at the law firm Bracewell & Patterson, LLP (now Bracewell, LLP). He was a partner for several years at the firm Barrera, Siqueiros y Torres Landa, S.C. (now Hogan Lovells), of which he was a member for nearly two decades.
His practice includes corporate, contractual, and financial law, including restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, and he has extensive experience in the communications and telecommunications sector, as well as in the representation of foreign investors in Mexico.
For more than 30 years, he has been a professor of corporate law and telecommunications at Universidad Iberoamericana and Universidad Panamericana, and is a member of the Mexican Bar and the Mexican Institute of Telecommunications (IDET).
Andrés has been recognized for more than 20 years in rankings such as Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners in the TMT area, and is recognized as one of the leading practitioners in Mexico in telecommunications, media, and technology, having been awarded the “Hall of Fame” distinction for several years.
